Patch 1.3.5 and Other Macabre Tales.
Dark elf males get emo hair as an option, now, do I find that funny or not, hmm. I expect Paul Barnett's "emo goths"...thing came into this somewhere. Actually, yes, it is kinda funny.
Other news: Darkpromise Spellcrown still ugly. (In before the "Dark Elf men still ugly" comments, suckers!)
More other news: Invader Spellcrown still has weapon skill on it. For when you just have to wade in and whack it with your staff (snerk).
I'll leave commentaries on the actual content to those more qualified than I. By whom I mean everyone.

My 500 point army list is kind of done, will have to see how it plays. I'm inexperienced at wargaming so I'll lose a lot even with an awesome army 'til I learn the ropes. I was debating sticking in 5 Black Guard as a special unit, definitely going to have a Master with sea dragon cloak, heavy armour and great weapon, probably on foot.
I've room to play with it since I only have corsairs and spearmen so far. Dark Riders will be in for the movement speed, but hell's teeth, £7 a model? That's £35 for 5 of them and they're a core unit! It's because they're metal models, but still, ouch. I'm taking option 2: build the little bastards out of bits. Wood Elf Glade Rider mounts and legs, Glade Guard heads, Dark Elf spearman torsos and arms. Works out at about £14 for a unit of 5 if you buy the bits independently. Not bad for a mounted unit.
My beloved 4th edition male sorcerer is on the sidelines 'til I build a bigger army and start dicking about with magic. I guess painting him was premature. Or not, I can use him as Rob's character mini for the WHFR game. Prophecy of Demise? Lalala, can't hear you.

I guess everything's good. The little parcel of joy (and spearman miniatures) this morning was...joyous. Assembling them took my mind off a few things, it's all good.
